What is stored in your browser
The games and site features use the browser's LocalStorage API. This is storage that belongs to your browser, on your device, scoped to this site's address. We cannot read it remotely; it is only ever read by JavaScript running on the page you are looking at.

That is the complete list. None of it is transmitted anywhere. It contains no personal information, no identifier that could be linked to you, and nothing that persists beyond the browser you are using.
You can delete all of it at any time by clearing site data for playfoodarcade.xyz in your browser settings, or by using the clear buttons on the favourites and recently played pages.
Why there is no global leaderboard
People sometimes ask why the site does not rank players worldwide. The answer is structural: there is no server receiving scores, so there is nothing that could build a ranking. Every score display on this site is labelled as your local best because that is precisely what it is.
Cookies
Food Arcade sets no first-party cookies of its own. The features above use LocalStorage, which is a different mechanism and is not transmitted with requests.
Third-party advertising, where served, may set cookies in your browser. Those cookies are controlled by the advertising provider, not by us. The cookie policy describes what they are typically used for and how to control them.
Advertising
This site is supported by advertising. Advertising slots are marked with the word "Advertisement" and are placed between content sections, in the sidebar on wide screens and between listing sections. No advertising is placed inside the game area, over the score display or over the controls.
When third-party advertising is served, the provider may use cookies or similar technologies to select and measure ads, including personalised ads based on your activity across websites. We do not receive that data, do not have access to it and cannot link it to anything stored on this site.
Most providers offer opt-out and control mechanisms. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, personalised advertising requires consent, which is collected through the consent interface presented by the advertising provider.
Analytics
Food Arcade runs no analytics platform of its own. We do not use Google Analytics, we do not run a tag manager and we do not embed tracking pixels. Basic server logs kept by the hosting provider (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) exist for security and operational purposes and are not used to profile visitors.
Children
Food Arcade is a general-audience site suitable for a wide range of ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because we do not collect personal information at all. If you are a parent or guardian with a concern, please contact us.
Your rights
Data protection law gives you rights over personal data an organisation holds about you — access, correction, erasure, portability and objection among them. In our case those rights are unusually simple to exercise, because we hold no personal data about you. Everything associated with your use of this site is in your own browser and under your direct control.
For data held by advertising providers, those rights must be exercised with the provider, whose own privacy policy will describe how.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. It loads no third-party scripts other than advertising where present, runs no eval(), and never inserts text supplied by a visitor into the page as HTML without escaping it first. Search input and URL parameters are treated as untrusted text.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes — a new category of data, a new third party — will be described explicitly rather than folded quietly into the text.
