Acceptance

By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. There is nothing to sign and no account to create — use of the site is the acceptance.

What we provide

Food Arcade provides free browser games and editorial content about browser games. The service is provided as it is, without charge and without a guarantee of availability. We may add, change or remove games and articles at any time.

Acceptable use

You may play the games, read the articles, link to any page and share those links freely. You may not:

• Copy, republish or redistribute the games, code, artwork or written content without written permission.
• Frame, embed or mirror the games on another site so they appear to be that site's own.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site or its hosting.
• Use automated systems to scrape the site's content at a rate that burdens the service.
• Remove, obscure or alter any copyright or attribution notice.
• Use the site in any way that breaks applicable law.

Intellectual property

All games, source code, written content, artwork, sounds, the Food Arcade name and the site design are the property of Food Arcade and protected by copyright and other applicable rights.

Food items are rendered using standard Unicode emoji supplied by your own operating system. Those glyphs are not ours and no claim is made over them.

Personal, non-commercial use of the site is permitted. Reproducing our content elsewhere is not, unless you have written permission. Short quotations with attribution and a link are fine and welcome.

Your local data

Scores, favourites and play history are stored in your browser and are yours. We cannot access, restore or transfer them. Clearing your browser data deletes them permanently, and there is no backup because there is no server-side copy.

Third-party links and advertising

The site contains links to third-party websites and displays third-party advertising. We do not control those sites or advertisements and are not responsible for their content, products, practices or privacy policies. A link is not an endorsement.

If you interact with an advertiser, that transaction is between you and them. Please apply your own judgement, particularly to anything asking for payment or personal information.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device and browser. We do not warrant that the content is complete or free of errors, though we correct errors when we find them or when they are reported.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Food Arcade is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including loss of data, loss of saved game progress or loss of time. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Not advice

Nothing on this site is professional advice of any kind. In particular, the food-themed content is game content: it is not nutritional, dietary, medical or food-safety guidance. See the disclaimer for detail.

These terms may be updated. The date at the top of the page records the most recent change. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
